The happiest little girl in the world.....

Mirabelle-Mae M - Oldham

Mirabelle-Mae M suffers for a severe form of spinabifida which affects her movement/nerves mainly affecting the lower half of her body. She has a ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt which is a medical device that relieves pressure on the brain caused by fluid accumulation and other medical challenges. Mirabelle-Mae had been asking for a bike and after assessment by a paediatric physiotherapist it was decided that a specialised trike would benefit by improving Mirabelle-Mae's exercise tolerance and help to promote movement and improve strength in her legs.
Her Mum embarked on a fundraising exercise and managed to raise half the cost and we were proud to have match funded the balance to ensure that Mirabelle-Mae achieved her wish.

Mirabelle-Mae's Mum wrote saying:

Hello Guys!

It arrived yesterday! and she has been absolutely over the moon with it. We are both so happy and can't thank you guys for contributing to make this happen for us.

This will be an ultimate game changer for us, and will do her the world of good in regards to her exercise on her legs.

She liked it so much that she ate her breakfast and dinner whilst still on it yesterday!

I thank you from the bottom of my heart and hope you like the pictures.
