Applications for help for an individual child should indicate specific requirements and brief factual information including the child's name, date of birth and health condition, should initially be made in writing by email or post. We will also accept applications from schools or organisations requiring specialist items for the benefit of special needs children. Please address all enquiries to:-

The age group of children we support is from birth to 18 years old.
Each request will be acknowledged and provided it meets our criteria, an application form will be sent by post or email. The form contains comprehensive questions relating to the child/children's medical condition and requires backup information from health professionals together with a financial statement of the applicant/organisation.
After we have received the completed application form, the appeal will be personally investigated by one of our members.
The majority of appeals are discussed and decided upon at our monthly meetings. If approved, a maximum sum is allocated and we take full responsibility for the purchase and safe delivery of the approved item.
Emergency and welfare appeals where possible, are dealt with immediately after receiving a completed application form. Decisions to help can being made within days if vital. We do try our best to deal with emergency appeals as quickly and efficiently as possible, but please remember, we work on an entirely voluntary basis and we have no paid staff. That way we can spend more on the children we have pledged to help.
