Georgii J. - Surrey
Georgii can now get to the park
Georgii J is a delightful 2½ -year-old boy who suffers from epilepsy, global delayed development and a chromosomal condition known as Klinefelter's Syndrome. He is partially sighted, has weak control in his upper body and cannot hold his head up, walk, talk and is dependant on a feeding peg and a pump for his food. Despite all of his difficulties his mum describes him as
"a very happy child - alert, focused and babbles and enjoys being stimulated". Georgii was unable to sit in a standard baby carrier due to his need for supportive seating and his family wished to include him in their outings in the park when they go bike riding. Lifeline 4 Kids made contact with a specialist manufacturer and arranged for the adaptation of a specialist bike trailer to attach to his mum's bike. We are delighted that Georgii can now enjoy trips to the park with his mum and his "big" sister.
