The Albrighton Trust

Provision of laptop computers
The Albrighton Trust provides educational recreational training facilities to assist disabled children with health and social care needs serving the area of Wolverhampton and the West Midlands, focussing on fishing from wheelchairs, gardening and horticulture, arts & drama, nature trails etc. Some 7,000 children benefit from activities at the centre. Most of the younger children are wheelchair bound. In July 2005 we funded a sensory garden and activity centre. We have just agreed to their request for two laptop computers, which will offer groups of young users the opportunity to increase their skills. The laptops will be used particularly for horticultural studies.
