Lifeline 4 Jordan.....

Important first stage towards independence for a delightful young man

14 year old Jordan from Tyne & Wear was described by his school teachers as "an absolute inspiration to anyone he comes into contact with and is so enthusiastic to be involved in any activity that the school is involved with". This includes drama productions, OAP parties, bag packing, talent competitions and helping with special events. Jordan is also keen to take part in any sporting competitions.

Jordan is a physically disabled young boy who wears splints on his feet & hands and has recently undergone surgery to help maintain him on his feet and to help prevent further contractures of his joints.

We were told that he would receive great benefit from a special Trike, which would allow him some independence to interact with his peer group and explore his outdoor environment and maintain and strengthen the muscles in his legs.

Lifeline 4 Kids was asked by his school if we could help this delightful young man and we certainly decided to do just that. Neither Jordan nor his Mum had any idea of our decision when the Trike was presented to him on the last day of term to coincide with the whole year group awards.

To say he was surprised was an understatement and both he and his mother were overwhelmed and so very grateful.

The photo shows him on his new trike.........Good luck Jordan and continue your good works.
