Hay Lane Special School, Kingsbury, London

This is a school of 120 children and a most dedicated staff. All children suffer the most severe disabilities. Few children have coherent speech and one third are wheelchair bound. Most children need one to one care including feeding and toileting. Due to budgetry restrictions the school is unable to afford a desperarely needed range of specialist bikes, trikes and other equipment totalling £25,000. We have allocated a substantial unspecified amount to ensure that the children get what they need.
