Rochdale Cycling Club

Rochdale Cycling Club caters for children with special needs including visually impaired children and those with physical and mental disabilities. Groups are taken for cycle rides every weekend and for long camping trips with parents/guardians. The club have a range of specially adapted bicycles that are loaned to children free of charge. They need a special duet bicycle wheelchair fitted with an electric motor to climb hills at a cost of £4,637. They have no paid staff, relying entirely on donations and have managed to raise £1,190 towards the cost. We are delighted to be funding the shortfall of almost £3,500 to ensure that they get this important piece of equipment.
