Jack W. - Blackpool
Provision of specialist voice recognition program.
12-year-old Jack has Hydrocephalus and Achondroplasia, which is a congenital problem that affects his growth and joints. Jack's fingers are misshapen and can easily dislocate so he struggles to write and a normal computer keyboard is challenging for him. Jack attends a mainstream school where he uses a computer to record work in lessons and has now learnt to use a specialist voice recognition program. Jack really needs a similar computer setup at home to complete homework and also to access his school files from the Internet. Jack's family simply cannot afford to buy this and asked us if we could help. We had no hesitation in buying this vital piece of equipment to give Jack more independence and control over the completion of schoolwork and homework. Good luck for the future Jack!
