Benjamin B, Norwich

At long last some independence for Benj.....

11-year old Benjamin suffers from Skelton Dysplasia with Myopathy, Hypermobilty, Epilepsy and related Visual Stress. Benj struggles with his mobility, which makes him easily frustrated. Benj hates being different to other kids and gets upset that his body won't do what his head wants to - he gets pain in his limbs, tires easily and needs lots of support to do the things that most of us take for granted. Benj wanted to be as independent as possible so his devoted Mum asked for our support in helping replace his clumsy NHS wheelchair to one more suitable for his needs. Lifeline 4 Kids had no hesitation in offering help to this lovely boy and Benj has now received his super duper 'Quickie Life' wheelchair. The look on his face says it all!

His Mum wrote:

...just to let you know we picked up Benjamin's wheelchair yesterday - a very happy little boy, he was so excited! I have attached a couple of pictures. Once again we can't thank you enough you have made this little boy so happy....

We wish Benjamin many years of happy independence using his new chair.
